海洋管理委员会

MSC（海洋管理委员会）成立于1997年，总部位于伦敦。由世界自然基金会 (WWF) 和水产行业共同发起，旨在倡导可持续渔业发展，保护健康的海洋生态系统。MSC 在全球产业内开发并推广可持续渔业捕捞和产销监管链管理两套标准体系。截至2018年7月，全球已经有432家获得 MSC 认证或进入 MSC 项目的渔场，这些渔场每年捕捞超过900万吨的水产品，超过了全球野生捕捞海产品总量的13.5%。
The MSC’s vision is for the world’s oceans to be teeming with life, and seafood supplies safeguarded for this and future generations. Through our world-leading certification and ecolabeling program we recognize and reward sustainable fisheries and through the leadership of our partners, create market incentives to encourage other fisheries to improve the way they operate. Over 300 fisheries around the world, representing 12% of the annual global marine catch, are now engaged in the MSC program. MSC certified and labelled seafood products are now available in over 100 countries.
