灾害风险综合研究计划国际项目办公室

The Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR) programme is a decade-long integrated research initiative co-sponsored by the International Council for Science (ICSU), the International Social Science Council (ISSC), and the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) – the Co-Sponsors. It is a global, trans-disciplinary research programme created to address the major challenges of natural and human-induced environmental hazards. The complexity of the task is such that it requires the full integration
of research expertise from the natural, socio-economic, health and engineering sciences as well as policy-making, coupled with an understanding of the role of communications, and public and political responses to reduce the risk.

灾害风险综合研究计划（Integrated Research on Disaster Risk，简称“IRDR”）是由国际科学理事会（International Council for Science，简称”ICSU”），国际社会科学理事会（International Social Science Council，简称”ISSC”）和联合国国际减灾战略（International Strategy for Disaster Reduction, 简称”UNISDR”）共同主办的一项为期十年的综合研究计划，该计划国际项目办公室（International Programme Office,简称“IPO”)设在中国科学院遥感与数字地球研究所（简称遥感地球所），这是在亚洲首次承办此类大型科学计划国际办公室。
